4‑H Auction Scholarships

Applications will be available June 1 and must be completed and due by August 1. There will be a minimum of 4 (four) $5,000 and 10 (ten) $2,500, and 15 (fifteen) $1,000 scholarships. They will be presented prior to the 4-H Auction on August 26th in the Compeer Arena.

Since 1995, when the first scholarship of $500 was awarded, 545 recipients have received $819,000 total in scholarships. Scholarship Sponsors provide 50% of funds and the MLBA 4‑H Purple Ribbon Auction matches each of the Sponsors' donations from the auction proceeds.

Sponsor a Scholarship

$5,000, $2,500, and $1,000 scholarships with 1/2 of the scholarship coming from donors and the match coming from 4-H proceeds
The deadline for sponsoring a scholarship is August 1
Sponsors will be announced at the 4-H auction, listed in the program for the event, and receive a thank-you from the recipient
Sponsors are invited to the auction
